The Clark Resource Council is a group of concerned citizens dedicated to maintaining the special places and values of the land and community of the Beartooth Front.

Gas development has already started along the Beartooth Front only one-half mile from the Forest Boundary. Six wells have been drilled from three drilling pads. A 75-square mile 3D seismic program has been completed by industry which includes highly sensitive big game habitat, valued recreational areas, and over 350 private landowners.

CRC advocates protection for special public landscapes—recreational, wild rivers and lands, habitat, cultural—in this exploration area. Wyoming citizens have long recognized the need to balance energy exploration and natural resource preservation for future generations. These sustainable assets also provide a healthy environment for viable communities.
CRC is dedicated to responsible energy development of the Beartooth Front. We must convince the BLM, Forest Service and state agencies to make the right decisions on planning and land use, and preserve the special areas of the Beartooth Front and our nearby communities.
