CRC Initiatives
Extend Wild (Class 1) designation of Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone:
Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River is Wyoming’s only Wild and Scenic River. Unfortunately the 1992 designation ended the protection at the Forest Boundary. The Clarks Forks flows out of the Canyon and reaches onto the Prairie in a magnificent stretch of undeveloped riparian habitat. Learn

Preserve special state lands within the 75 sq. mi development area:
Two beautiful and remote state sections that are prime wildlife habitat and recreation areas are within the 75 sq. mi. area of potential development.
Preserve BLM’s designated Bald Ridge Special Management Area:
For many years BLM has been stewarded Bald Ridge's potential development area for the benefit of wildlife. What has now changed? Shouldn’t this area maintain a No Surface Use status and continue as a sustainable asset for everyone’s benefit? The current BLM Resource Management Plan (1992 version) failed to protect this area.
